For architects & general contractors

One envelope. One fabricator. One run.

Panels, coping, scuppers, and gutters from the same shop, the same color run, on the date you committed to the owner — with the approvals your AHJ will ask for. Spec it once, source it once, pass inspection the first time.

On schedule, through the AHJ

What kicks a metal envelope back — and how we keep it on schedule.

A GC fears a slipped date and liquidated damages; an architect fears a rejected spec and a finish that fades. Both come down to the same two things: a date you can hold and an approval your reviewer signs. Here's how we cover each one.

  • A sub's material slips and you eat liquidated damages.

A committed fabrication date and proactive status. You build your schedule on a date we hold, not a range we hope to make.

    Committed date · proactive status

  • A spec gets rejected because the product can't show approvals.

Published Florida Product Approval / Miami-Dade NOA numbers and finish data, ready for your submittal.

FPA / NOA — supplied with the package

  • Coping and panel come from different vendors and don't match in the field.

Single-source the whole envelope from one run — panels, coping, scuppers, gutters — so the metal reads as one building, not three orders.

    One run · one PO

  • The finish I specified fades or chalks and the owner blames the design.

Kynar 500 / PVDF — the architect's first-choice finish for fade and chalk resistance — plus SMP and Galvalume. Copper when the detail calls for it.

    Kynar/PVDF · 30-year finish

  • The fabricator needs hand-holding on every detail.

Send the drawing. We read coping radii, scupper conditions, and flashing details without a back-and-forth — 40+ years of combined sheet-metal experience.

We read the detail · no back-and-forth

Custom Z-flashing and coping detail fabricated to a marked-up section on the brake at Superb Metals

Fabricated to your drawing

We read the detail. We fabricate to it.

Radius coping, custom scupper conditions, collector heads, window pans, Z-flashing — we fabricate the hard parts in-house, to your drawing, in Central Florida.

No mill thousands of miles away interpreting your section the wrong way. The shop that reads the detail is the shop that bends it.

Medium bronze standing seam panels staged with matched coping and trim from a single production run

Single-source the whole envelope.

When trim and panel come from different suppliers, you're betting on a match that no amount of caulk fixes.

Order the envelope from one fabricator and one run and the color, gauge, and finish hold across the roof, the parapet, and the gutter line.

  • Panel + trim on one PO

The finish architects specify

Finishes architects actually specify.

Kynar/PVDF for the 30-year fade and chalk resistance owners expect, SMP for value jobs, Galvalume, and copper for the architectural moments.

FAQ

Architects & GCs FAQ

  • Do you supply architects and general contractors?

Yes. We fabricate the metal building envelope for Central Florida architects and GCs — standing seam panels, coping, scuppers, collector heads, and commercial gutters — in-house, from a single production run, with published approvals and Kynar/PVDF finishes for your submittal.

  • Can you provide Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade NOA numbers for a submittal?

Yes. Our Guardian and Defender systems carry Florida approvals and the Guardian exceeds Miami-Dade code; we supply the current approval documentation with every submittal package. Request the package and we'll send the exact approval sheets your reviewer needs.

  • Can I source the panel and the trim from one supplier?

Yes — that's the point. Order panels, coping, scuppers, and gutters from us together and they come from one production run in one color, gauge, and finish, on one PO. No field mismatch between a panel from one vendor and trim from another.

  • What finishes do you offer for architectural work?

Kynar 500 / PVDF — the architect's first-choice finish for fade and chalk resistance with long finish warranties — plus SMP, Galvalume, and copper for architectural details. Request a finish chart for your submittal or see the colors page.

  • Do you fabricate custom coping, scuppers, and collector heads?

Yes. We fabricate custom and radius coping, TPO/PVC-clad and soldered G90 scuppers, collector and leader heads (including copper), chimney caps, window pans, and Z-flashing in-house to your drawing — the architectural pieces a distributor can't make to spec.

  • How fast can you fabricate and will you commit to a date?

We commit to a fabrication date when you place the order and hold it — so you can build your construction schedule on a date, not a range. Most envelope packages run on a committed lead time we confirm with your quote.

Spec it once. Source the whole envelope from one run.

Send the drawing or the spec section. We'll fabricate to it in-house, supply the approvals for your submittal, and hold the date your schedule depends on.
